Synonyms:
Vicia unguiculata Clavaud ex Bonnier & Layens

Vicia villosa is an exotic annual with racemes of many large purple, blue or white flowers. There are 10-20 flowers per raceme and the herbage is pubescent. Vicia villosa is native to Europe and is an escapee from cultivation. It is found on roadsides and near agriculture in our area.
