Vicia leucophaea is a twining perennial herb with whitish flowers that have blue streaking on the banner (at least in our plants). There is one flower per inflorescence. The leaves are pinnately compound with only 3 or 4 leaflets. The legumes are pubescent as is the calyx. We found Vicia leucophaea just above the town of Mogollon.
