Phacelia intermedia Wooton
Phacelia caerulea is easily confused with Phacelia bombycina in our area. Both have
scorpioid cymes and dissected leaves. However, Phacelia caerulea has light blue to white flowers with included stamens, while Phacelia bombycina has purple flowers with exserted stamens. Both are annuals or biennials found in sandy soils in our area.
