Synonyms:
Sisymbrium umbrosum B.L. Rob.

Dryopetalon runcinatum is readily recognizable by the lobed, wavy whitish petals and the deeply cut leaves, like a dandelion. The fruits are narrowly rod-shaped (siliques). Dryopetalon runcinatum is found at lower elevation in the Gila.
